Today’s Question: It’s the Summer Solstice—are you feeling it?

Answer:
You bet I am.

Looking back, I realize I’ve been unconsciously preparing for this Summer Solstice for the past couple of weeks. I’ve been painting sunrises, soaking up the heat, and reminiscing about lazy summer days filled with golden light. I can feel the fullness of the long days in my bones and in my spirit.

And yet, despite the warmth and brightness all around me, there’s a certain heaviness in my heart. It’s unexpected, almost contradictory. Maybe it’s just a passing mood, or maybe it’s rooted in something deeper—thoughts about aging, about those I love growing older too, and the quiet uncertainty of what lies ahead.

Still, in this exact moment, I’m sitting peacefully with a glass of white wine in hand. I feel calm, grounded, and content. There’s something sacred about savoring the light on this longest day of the year—bittersweet, beautiful, and entirely enough.
