Question to Myself: I missed posting yesterday—what does that say about my goal?
Answer to Myself: I missed one day out of 19. Darn it. But if you do the math, that’s still 95%—which is above average, and I’ll take it! Life got busy yesterday with another project, but honestly, I think I just ran out of writing steam.
I realize this will happen from time to time. I’ll get busy, I’ll procrastinate, I’ll decide I just don’t feel like writing. And that’s okay. What matters is maintaining consistency and not letting a single missed day turn into stopping altogether.
Some days, my posts might be shorter—less enthusiastic, perhaps—but they’ll still be genuine. And that’s the real goal: to keep going, to show up, to write.
So today, I celebrate being 95% on target. I’m proud of that. And I’m still moving forward.
