My 100 Day Project

It always surprises me how difficult it can be to just open up WordPress and start blogging. I often come up with stories in my mind as I walk or drive, but somehow, the words never make it to the page. This is my latest attempt at consistency: joining the 100 Day Project for 2025. Just to clarify, this isn’t the same as Project 2025! The 100 Day Project is simply about committing to something for 100 days. It can be as simple as taking a daily photograph, creating a piece of art, working out, or trying something new. The goal is to do it every day for 100 days. People often choose something that will help them get started, make a commitment, or bring some personal benefit. The day’s progress is typically shared on social media. This year, the 100 Day Project kicks off on February 23rd, which just happens to be today!

My 100 DAY PROJECT

Yes, I’m going to give it my best shot to write every day, and here’s my plan. This weekend, I listened to The Good Life Project podcast, where Courtney Carver was interviewed about her new book, Gentle. Not only does the book sound fascinating, but it also seems to resonate deeply with where my head is right now.

What really sparked my thinking about my 100 Day Project (which I’ve been struggling to focus on) were all the questions she posed to the audience and herself. As I listened, I realized that these could make for fantastic writing prompts I’d love to take the time to explore. I could ask myself one question every day, not limiting myself to just hers—after all, there are so many questions to consider! As a starting point, I think Courtney’s questions are PERFECT! I’m now compiling a list of questions in my planner, and each day I’ll choose one based on what resonates with me at the moment.

Here are the rules I’ll try to follow:

  • One question per day
  • No pictures required (this is where I often get stuck, but why do I need a picture?)
  • Answer from the heart
  • No limits on length—short or long, both are equally worthwhile
  • Repetition of questions is allowed

So for today the first day of my project, I have answered my very first question – Waht will my project be? I invite you to follow me on the my journey of learning a little more about myself by asking and answering a thoughtful question each day.

I’m Nadine

Welcome to my life and the experiences that shape who I am. In February 2025, I embarked on a 100-Day Project, challenging myself to ask and answer a question every day. I invite you to follow along, explore my daily Q&A, and perhaps discover something new about yourself along the way.

Join me on this adventure of learning, creating, and embracing a slower, more intentional way of living—with my loyal companion, Andy, by my side.

Welcome to my journey!
